Man loses his life in collision on Pyramid Lake
A 36-year old Fremont man died after a collision that occurred on Pyramid Lake in Castaic at 1:40PM, Saturday, July 17.
A twenty foot ski boat collided with a personal water craft (WaveRunner) that had turned abruptly into his path. They lifted the victim from the water onto the boat and transported him to shore.
Once on shore, they were met by deputies from the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Parks Bureau who immediately administered Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) to the victim. They administered CPR for approximately 25 minutes until Paramedics from the Los Angeles County Fire Department arrived.
