CERRITOS STATION RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY TEAM ARRESTS SUSPECTS

On Tuesday, June 4, 2013, at about 11:30 A.M., the Cerritos Sheriff's Station Residential Burglary Team observed a suspicious vehicle with no license plates at 183rd Street and Bloomfield Avenue. Subsequent investigation revealed the two male occupants, 45-year-old resident of Long Beach and a 20-year-old resident of Los Angeles, were in possession of burglary tools, possible stolen property and a police scanner tuned to the local police frequency. One of the males was also wanted in another jurisdiction for residential burglary.



Both males were arrested and booked at Cerritos Station for Reasonable Cause Burglary, Conspiracy to Commit Burglary, and Possession of Burglary Tools.



The investigation is on-going and detectives are working to identify the owners of the property.
