COPS Bureau and Compton Station Conduct Undercover Operation for Effective Results

Cops Bureau Compton CSU team conducted a saturation patrol/undercover operation in the East Compton and East Rancho Dominguez area.

Deputies from Compton CSU, Compton station SAO team, and Compton station Community Relations conducted patrol saturation and crime suppression. A plain clothes vehicle was used to provide undercover monitoring of the area for criminal activity.

The operation resulted in 8 misdemeanor arrests for various crimes, 7 felony arrests; including, 1 narcotics trafficking arrest and 1 firearms related arrest resulting in the recovery of a firearm. 1 gang member from Leuders park gang was contacted and interviewed.
