Business Watch

On Saturday March 15th, 2104 members of the Rowland Heights Team along with Walnut/Diamond Bar Captain Jeff Scroggin attended the Asian Business Seminar at the "STC Center" at 18558 Gale Ave, City of Industry. The event was dedicated to businesses in Rowland Heights, Hacienda Heights and surrounding areas. Rowland Heights Community Relations Deputy Louis Denver was a guest lecturer.

Attendees were informed on crime prevention techniques, advised on how to secure their businesses, and were taught disaster preparedness. New, as well as existing businesses were shown ways to develop a better partnership with the Sheriff's Department as well as other businesses within the community. Businesses were encouraged to develop a Business Watch where all of neighboring business Watch out for each other to prevent crime and nuisances.
