Los Angeles County Sheriff's Homicide detectives are continuing their investigation into the shooting death of a man that occurred at approximately 8:53 PM, Monday, April 21, 2014, in the 22100 block of South Neptune Avenue, Carson.
Detectives have learned that a car to car shooting occurred in the area of Carson Street and Orrick Avenue, Carson. The victim, who was a passenger in one of the cars, was then driven to the 22100 block of South Neptune Avenue, Carson, where deputies from Carson Sheriff's Station responded.
The victim was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The shooting is believed to be gang-related.
