Sheriff's Special Victims Detectives & The Easter Bunny Visited Kids at California Hospital Medical Center

On Thursday, April 17, 2014, The Easter Bunny and personnel from the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department Special Victims Bureau visited over 50 children at California Hospital Medical Center for the 11th Annual Easter Bunny Operation. The Sheriff's Department partners with the Easter Bunny Foundation to bring excitement and joy to hospitalized children and their families. The Easter Bunny greeted many patients and his helpers, Special Victims Bureau Detectives and Professional Staff, distributed gifts which included a new plush toy bunny and other special gifts. This annual tradition delivered smiles and brought joy to the children and families in the community. "It is always an amazing experience to see the Easter Bunny and detectives give gifts to the patients, but the patients always seem to give back a greater gift of laughter and smiles which is priceless," said Special Victims Sgt. Al Fraijo.

The Easter Bunny Foundation helps the Easter Bunny make visits to hospitalized children all over the United States, Canada and as far away as The United Kingdom. The Easter Bunny Foundation has been hip-hopping around to visit children in the hospital during the week of Easter since 1995. ...
