On September 13, 2014, Carson Station partnered with the City of Carson, residents, and Sheriff's volunteers to conduct a community survey in the Centerview neighborhood in Carson. The survey was conducted by walking around the neighborhood on foot, enabling face-to-face interaction with residents. Utilizing Carson Sheriff's Station special programs and the City of Carson's "Safety First, Act Now" program, this survey was conducted to enhance public trust, reduce crime, and improve quality of life.

Thanks to the results of the survey, special emphasis will be given to the area in order to address the areas of concern. Throughout this period, constant analysis and adjustments will be used to fine-tune the results. As these issues are addressed, long-term goals will be established in order to continue a meaningful relationship and improvement in quality of life for residents.
