10th Anniversary ot Deputy David March Commemorated.

April 29, 2012, Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department Deputies commemorated The tenth anniversary of the death of Deputy David March. Sheriff's Deputies stood vigil for 24 hours in rememberance of the ultimate sacrifice of one of their own.







April 29th 2002, Deputy David March was working patrol when he effected a traffic stop on a career criminal who fatally shot Deputy March.







The suspect fled the country and hid in Mexico for several years. He was eventually extradited from Mexico and pled guilty for murdering Deputy March and is now serving his sentence in a California Prison.







Words written by Deputy March just weeks before his murder have been adopted as the Creed of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department
