Man sought for the alleged kidnapping and rape of his spouse, arrested by Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff’s Station detectives in Los Angeles.

On Friday, July 27, 2012 at approximately 6:30 P.M, a female employed at a business near the 22000 block of Pacific Coast Highway, Malibu, was allegedly kidnapped at gunpoint point by her estranged husband as she left work that evening. The suspect, who was armed with a semi-automatic handgun, ordered the victim into her vehicle and forced her to drive to a poorly lit residential area near Gramercy Street, in the city of Los Angeles. Once at the location, the suspect proceeded to rape the victim in her car.



The victim was then forced to drive the suspect to Western Avenue and 2nd Street, Los Angeles, where the suspect exited the vehicle and fled the scene. The victim drove to her home where she reported the incident to police. Malibu/Lost Hills Station deputies responded and were later assisted by station detectives.



On July 28, 2012, at approximately 5:45 P.M., while continuing their investigation, Malibu/Lost Hills Station Detectives located and arrested 27-year old Rudy Zendejas in the city of Los Angeles. At the time of his arrest, he was in possession of a loaded semi-automatic handgun. He was booked at Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff's Station for Kidnapping With The Intent To Commit Rape and Spousal Rape. He is being held in lieu of $1,000,000 bail.
