Temple Station Disaster Communications Service Recognized for Emergency Preparedness.



Temple Station Disaster Communications Team Recognized By the Rosemead City Council for educating the Public in Emergency Preparedness.



Members of the Los Angeles County Disaster Communications Service (DCS) operating out of Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department Temple Station were awarded a certificate in recognition of "Educating the public on the importance of getting prepared for an emergency."



The award was presented at the Rosemead Emergency Preparedness Fair, on Saturday March 3rd, 2012.

DCS is an organization that trains and prepares for disasters of any kind, and works to maintain preparedness especially in regard to communications capability. They work throughout the year to build and maintain Amateur Radio based communications.
