Walnut/ Diamond Bar Sheriff's Station is issuing a warning to residents regarding burglary suspects claiming to be city workers or water district employees.
Within the past week, the suspects have targeted three locations by way of ruse. They distract the homeowner, while others enter the residence to steal items.
Please be aware of suspicious persons knocking on your front door, and be sure to ask for proper identification if they claim to be workers.
If you have any concern of somebody strange or unknown contacting you at your house, or if you feel uneasy about the situation, do not hesitate to contact your nearest law enforcement agency or immediately call 911.
