Attempt murder, assault with a deadly weapon and robbery suspects arrested. Rifle, gang paraphernalia and suspected methamphetamine seized during multi-location search warrant service

Operation Safe Streets Bureau (OSS) detectives assigned to Lakewood Station arrested four gang members from the criminal street gang 18th Street. Detectives seized a rifle, suspected methamphetamine and gang paraphernalia during the service of search warrants.



OSS investigators developed information during their investigation of a gang-related attempt murder incident and robbery incident that lead to the service of search warrants at five locations yesterday; three of the locations were in the city of Bellflower, one in the city of Paramount, and one in the city of Whittier. Both shooting incidents occurred in the city of Bellflower in November and December of 2012.



One subject was detained for attempt murder. A second subject was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon and robbery. A third subject was arrested for unlawful possession of a firearm. And a fourth subject was arrested for possession of methamphetamine.
