Deputies From Lancaster Stations LANCAP Team Followed The Trail Of Counterfeit Cash To a Westside Home Tuesday
A month long investigation into drug sales and counterfeiting in the city of Lancaster ended Tuesday with the arrest of four suspects. Deputies from Lancaster Station's, "Lancaster Community Appreciation Program" (LANCAP) team, tracked the trail of counterfeit money to a home located in the 45100 block of 15th Street West.
During a search of the property, the deputies found several sheets of counterfeit bills in five and twenty dollar denominations and a computer printer inside a shed located in the rear yard of the home. Inside the home, deputies found several baggies of drugs including, methamphetamine, cocaine and marijuana. They also found scales and other items related to the sales of narcotics.
The deputies arrested 44 year old Allin Johnson, 32 year old James Carterboakye and 32 year old Benjamin Petras, who were all inside the home at the time of the search.
During their investigation, the deputies discovered that Johnson, who lives at the home, is on active probation for forgery and Petras (who lives in an apartment in the 43500 block of Kirkland Avenue) is on active parole for narcotics.
Armed with this information, the deputies drove Petras to his apartment where they conducted a "Parole Compliance" check. The check resulted in the discovery of additional methamphetamine as well as psilocybin or "magic mushrooms." They also found 43 year old Lisa Stephenson inside the apartment. Stephenson was arrested and faces charges related to the sales of narcotics.
Johnson, Petras and Carterboakye all face narcotic and counterfeiting charges.
