Cerritos Sheriff Station to Honor Fallen Officers During Memorial Run

On Friday, May 17, 2013, Cerritos Sheriff's deputies, members of their families, and community members will come together to run or bike a 5-mile leg of the 36th Annual Los Angeles Sheriff's Department's Memorial Torch Relay from Cerritos Station to Lakewood Station. The three-day relay run will begin at 9 a.m. Friday at the Sherman Block Sheriff's Headquarters Building in Monterey Park. Cerritos deputies will take the torch from the Norwalk Sheriffs about 10:30 p.m. and run their route through Cerritos and Artesia to the Lakewood Sheriff's Station.
