Temple Sheriff's Station was proud to co-host the City of South El Monte Neighborhood Watch meeting on August 22nd. Approximately 100 residents attended the event. This demonstrates the citizen's collaborative and proactive efforts to curb crime. The primary concern mentioned by residents is traffic enforcement and gang activity. The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department is committed to the safety of the residents. We are proactively deploying various department resources to maintain the low crime rates that the residents expect.
We cannot win the fight against crime alone, we need the help of residents. Partner to prevent or report crime by contacting the Temple Sheriff's Station at (626) 285-7171. Or if you wish to remain Anonymous, call "LA Crime Stoppers" by dialing 800-222-TIPS (8477), texting the letters TIPLA plus your tip to CRIMES (274637), or using the website http://lacrimestoppers.org
