On October 30th, 14 members of the Education Based Incarceration Bureau were honored by Commander Stephen Johnson and Captain Mike Bornman for their service milestones, including 10, 15, 20, 25, and even 30 years of service for one of our deputies! Each of the employees, which included both sworn and professional staff, received recognition pins from the County of Los Angeles and the Sheriff's Department. For those attaining 25 years of service, the county issues a tasteful paperweight containing the county seal. An employee reaching 30 years of service is honored by the Sheriff's Department with a distinguished looking desktop pen and pencil set. We applaud all of our recipients for their dedication and years of service.
