Temple Station Hosts Annual Mug Run

On February 8th, 2013, Temple Station hosted its annual Mug Run. The Mug Run is one of 10 different events hosted by various LASD units throughout the county between November 2013 and March 2014. The Mug Run is a 10k/5k foot race which is part of a series of runs sponsored by the Los Angeles Sheriff's Athletic Association.

Approximately 250 runners participated in this year's run. Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals were awarded to the top three finishers in each age category as well as the fastest male and female 5k and 10k runners. Participants who successfully completed any 3 races in the series were awarded a uniquely styled glass mug. Anyone can participate in the Mug Runs! Friends, family, and the general public are invited to run with us in future races!

Temple Station would like to thank all the volunteers and reserves who assisted in keeping all the runners safe.
