Sheriff's Good Newsletter



Good News Letters Submission Instructions:

The "Sheriff's Good News Letter" has been established to acknowledge and share with others the outstanding work of the men and women of the Sheriff's Department. Sheriff Scott wants to highlight the tremendous contributions made by sworn and professional staff members, both on and off duty, that make our Department great!

The first edition of the "Sheriff's Good News Letter" was emailed to Department members on February 24th and 25th, 2014. Future editions will be distributed on a regular basis. All Department members are encouraged to submit articles and stories to be considered for publishing in the "Sheriff's Good News Letter."

All submissions must meet the following requirements:

Short title or headline for article

50 - 75 word summary of event/incident using Arial script with size 12 font

Include internet hyperlink to full article and/or photographs related to submission (if applicable)

Ensure the submission has been approved by your Unit Commander

Email your submissions to the "SHB Good News Letter" email group (SHBGoodNewsLetter@lasd.org)
