West Hollywood Sheriff Station Personnel Attend "999 For Kids" Christmas Party
West Hollywood Sheriff Station Lieutenant Wiard and Captain Honings helped bring holiday cheer to physically and mentally challenged children who are medically vulnerable or are victims of the most severe cases of child abuse, neglect and family violence. The party, held at a LA Sheriff's Department training location, provided an opportunity for children to play in show that was brought in, just for the event.
A partnership between the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department and the Department of Children and Family Services, the annual 999 for Kids holiday party provides a festive atmosphere and brings joy to abused and disabled children. Sheriff's Department volunteers, their family members and the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (FIDM) all take part in putting on this fantastic event.
Generous donations from members of the Sheriff's Department and the community make this and other events possible. If you would like to donate to the 999 For Kids program please make checks payable to: 999 for Kids, 4700 Ramona Boulevard, Monterey Park, CA 91754. For credit card donations, please call (323) 526-5120. Federal Tax ID: #95-4047797.
