If You See Something, Say Something!

12/15/2014

As the holidays approach, property crimes tend to increase. By staying vigilant and reporting suspicious activity, we as a community can minimize crime and avoid becoming victims.

THINGS TO LOOK FOR:

Suspicious subjects knocking on doors to see if anyone is home.

Unexpected visitors knocking on your door. If you do answer your door, suspicious stories of why they are there (i.e.; looking for someone who does not live there).

Multiple subjects wandering the neighborhood. This includes women and/or teenagers.

Suspicious subjects looking into vehicles or walking around parking lots.

WHAT WE NEED YOU TO DO:

Time is a factor. Immediately call Carson Station if you see something you consider suspicious at (310) 830-1123 or 9-1-1.

If you are home during the day, be aware of who is approaching your neighbor's residence or knocking on your door. Let the person know someone is home without opening the door.

Take note of suspect descriptions such as gender, race, clothing, height, weight, age, hair color, eye color, tattoos, etc.

If possible, take note of vehicle descriptions, license plates, and direction of travel.
