Traffic Alert: La Cienega between Sunset and Fountain - coming soon!
A full closure of La Cienega Boulevard from Sunset Boulevard to Fountain Avenue will commence on Monday, August 17th to through traffic in both directions. This closure will remain in effect for approximately 4 weeks through the middle of September.
Local access for the residential buildings on La Cienega will be maintained via identified lanes and traffic control devices.
Those traveling north on La Cienega north of Holloway will be directed to turn east onto Fountain Ave.
All vehicles traveling on Sunset will have to continue east or west through the intersection. The westbound Sunset left turn lane to southbound La Cienega will be closed and Sunset eastbound traffic will not be able to turn right to southbound La Cienega.
Access to and from Miller Dr. north of Sunset will not be affected. During the closure, protected pedestrian access will be maintained on the west sidewalk of La Cienega between Sunset and Fountain.
