Sergeant Jason Van Genderen and Deputy Alejandra Becerra made little 6 year old Flavio Luis Carreto's dream come true when they surprised him at his birthday party. A few days prior to his party, Flavio insisted his mom, Ana Carreto, stop by our station lobby to invite us to his birthday party. Deputies quickly learned of the touching invitation and signed a birthday card and gave him a replica Sheriff's Explorer car. Flavio was more than happy that we were able to make it to his party and hopes to one day be a police officer.
