The East Los Angeles Station Service Area Team coordinated with business owners in the city of Maywood at Atlantic Avenue and Slauson Avenue. Many business owners met with Sergeant Bearse and Deputy Mejia to discuss many quality of life concerns regarding the homeless and vagrants. This was the first time for many of the locals to meet their business owners. The meeting brought ideas and concepts in addressing the business community's concerns, and are looking forward to the next meeting.
