National Night Out - 2016

Avalon Sheriff's Station participated in National Night Out to help bring awareness to crime prevention and the importance of community policing. Station volunteers passed out candy, stickers, pencils, coloring books and small toys to all the children that stopped by our station. Adults received information on crime prevention, volunteer opportunities and our newly implemented Bicycle Education and Registration (BEAR) program. McGruff the Crime Dog provided many photo opportunities for everyone that stopped by.
