Principal for a Day:

Thank you to Superintendent, Dr. Julie Mitchell of the Rowland Unified School District for providing Captain Reyes with the opportunity to participate in the Principal for a Day program at the Oswalt Academy in the city of Walnut. The Oswalt Academy is a K-8th grade school and is recognized as a California Distinguished School and 2016 Gold Ribbon School. Captain Reyes had the opportunity to shadow Principal Kevin Despard as he managed the daily events of running the academy and observe the sophisticated educational program in action.
