Distracted Driver Awareness Month
April is recognized as National Distracted Driver Awareness Month. According to the Department of Transportation, 3,154 people died and another 424,000 were injured in distraction-affected vehicle crashes. Just three seconds of texting while driving at 65 mph is equal to driving the length of a football field blindfolded. Is a cell phone call, text message, or posting a picture worth someone's life?
Join the "It Can Wait" pledge to not use your smartphone while driving. Take the pledge and post a picture to social media. https://www.itcanwait.com/
