Avalon Station personnel participated in the 2017 Memorial Torch Run. We started at the Wrigley Stage by the beach, the half way point was the Wrigley Botanical Garden, and back to the Avalon Sheriff's Station. The purpose of the event was to remember those deputies that gave the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty. All L.A. County Sheriff's Stations participated in the Memorial Torch Run.
