On June 13th, 2017, the Walnut Valley Rotary Club hosted the award ceremony for the Deputy of the Year and Firefighter of the Year for 2016. Certificates from the City of Diamond Bar, Congressman Ed Royce's office, Senator Josh Newman's office, Assemblyman Phillip Chen's office and Supervisor Janice Hahn's office were presented. We were privileged to have Walnut Diamond Bar Station Deputy Lorraine Marino chosen to be honored with the award. Her hard work and diligent effort to protect the community and train new deputies have garnered her this prestigious award. We are so proud of her and her accomplishments.
