The City of Diamond Bar hosted it's "Let's Talk Safety" program to the community. The program was held at Castle Rock Elementary school, in the city of Diamond Bar, to local residents. Speakers of the presentation consisted of City of Diamond Bar city staff, LA County Fire Department, and LA County Sheriff's Department. This program gives residents information regarding the city's roll in safety and disaster preparation, the Fire department discusses fire safety and C.E.R.T certification, and the Sheriff's department discuss home and personal safety. This program was the fourth "Let's Talk Safety" held within the city which allows the community to have direct contact with its local government and public services.
