Temple Station Hosts 2nd Annual Hero Bus Pull

Temple Station Hosted the 2nd Annual Hero Bus Pull. Teams of ten joined to pull a Los Angeles County Sheriff Jail bus a distance of forty feet in the shortest amount of time.

The February 25th event was open to the public and local law enforcement, fire, and other public safety organizations. Each team was comprised of five members. The various teams included some all women teams, a team of United States Marines and even a group of kids. Each had a turn at pulling the bus. In the end the "Hog Haulers" team logged the fastest time of 20.89 seconds.

It was a morning of fun and competition for all. There were several informational booths, and several food vendors and a German Shepherd rescue organization.
