Teaching skills used in the pet-service industry, this training prepares students for jobs in such businesses as kennels, animal shelters, pet shops and pet salons.

This program prepares inmate students for careers in plant farm management, including orchards, vineyards, and tree and shrub nurseries. The Department operates a large nursery and provides training in nursery operations, equipment maintenance, horticultural skills, soil preparation, plant propagation, and sprinkler installation and maintenance.
