On November 06, 2013, Parole Compliance Team #4 went to the location to locate and arrest a PSP PAL. When the team members knocked on the door, they were met by a resident of the home. The deputies advised her of their purpose and were allowed inside. While the team was conducting a protective sweep, they located approximately 4 kilograms of cocaine under a bed in one of the bedrooms. After their discovery, the deputies obtained a consent to search for additional narcotics and any paraphernalia.
During the search, the team located a loaded .380 caliber handgun in the same bedroom and approximately 1 pound of methamphetamine in the garage. As this investigation was unfolding, deputies spoke to the suspect. Due to the highly skilled interviewing methods, the suspect confessed the cocaine, methamphetamine and firearm belonged to him.
The suspect was arrested for possession of a controlled substance for sales and possession of a loaded unregistered firearm. The suspect was transported to Pico Rivera Station for booking.
This investigation is ongoing and any further details will be forwarded at its completion.
