Montrose Search and Rescue Training

Montrose Search and Rescue is one of the best Search and Rescue Teams in the nation. They are on a record breaking pace this years for call outs (Rescues/Searches) with well over 65 call outs alone.

Even with all these call outs, Montrose Search and Rescue conducts monthly training in the field as well as training at their monthly meetings.

This makes the team work very well together and helps them be as good as they are.

By the way, did you know that Montrose Search and Rescue are Reserve Deputy Sheriffs who work for $1.00 A year? That is right, they have regular jobs and drop everything (leave their families, weekends, parties, dinners) to respond on a call out for a search and rescue mission.
