On Monday, February 24, 2014, a report was made at the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff's Station regarding a residential burglary. This burglary incident occurred on the 27900 block of Tyler Lane in the Canyon Country area in the City of Santa Clarita.
The victim reported unknown suspect(s) stole her disabled son's wheelchair which was inside the garage of her residence. The victim believed her garage door may have been left open at the time of the theft. A black backpack was attached to the back of the wheelchair and it is also missing.
The stolen wheelchair reportedly was a "Karma" custom made wheelchair that was made especially for the victim's son. The wheelchair had a candy-apple red paint job with ghost flames running along the bars of the chair.
Deputies assigned to the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff's Station are asking that you review the attached photos. If you have any information regarding this incident, or the whereabouts of the wheelchair shown in the photograph, please contact the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff's Station.
