Deputies from Lancaster Station conducted an anti-Prostitution operation Wed which resulted in the arrest of eleven.
Deputies assigned to Lancaster Station's Targeted Oriented Policing (TOP) and Community Oriented Response Enforcement (CORE) teams, along with detectives from the Sheriff's Departments Major Crimes Bureau, conducted an anti-prostitution operation Wednesday night (June 20, 2012). The operation, which took place at a local motel on Sierra Highway, was part of Lancaster Station's effort to reduce overall crime in that area. The operation resulted in the arrest of ten males and one female. Nine of the males were arrested for soliciting a prostitute, one was arrested for "pimping" and the female was arrested for prostitution.
All of the suspects were booked at Lancaster Station and are facing a minimum fine of $1,000 or up to two years in State Prison.
