Compton deputies arrest three gang members and recover two handguns.

Compton Sheriff's Station deputies continue to reduce gun/gang violence through proactive law enforcement.

On March 20, 2013, at approximately 5:45 pm, a Compton deputy conducted a drinking in public investigation which led to the arrest of a previously convicted felon for possessing a concealed firearm. The suspect was also a member of a criminal street gang and was charged with several violations.

On March 21, 2013, at approximately 12:38 am, Compton deputies conducted a traffic enforcement stop. Further investigation led to the arrest of two previously convicted felons for possessing a concealed firearm in the vehicle. Both suspects were members of a criminal street gang and were charged with several violations.

Compton Sheriff's Station continues to provide safety for the citizens and community we serve. Both of these arrests undoubtedly reduced future gun and gang violence in the city of Compton.
