Thursday, February 16th, 2012 :: 06:15 p.m. PST - Less than 48 hours after shooting his brother during a quarrel at the family home in the city of Walnut, 40 year-old Sean Alexander Kent was arrested on the 300 block of South Prospero Drive, by an officer of the West Covina Police Department.
West Covina Police Officer Street recognized the vehicle driven by Kent based on a Special Bulletin distributed by Detectives from Walnut / Diamond Bar Sheriff's Station to local law enforcement agencies following the shooting Tuesday.
Suspect Kent was later transferred to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department - Walnut / Diamond Bar Sheriff's Station, where he was booked on one count of Assault with a Deadly Weapon with a Firearm. His bail is $50,000. He is expected to be arraigned in Pomona Court early next week.

(Press Release) Brother Shoots Brother During Argument in Walnut
Assault With A Deadly Weapon Firearm
Just after 2:00 PM this afternoon, deputies responded to a residence in the 19800 block of Vista Hermosa Drive, Walnut, regarding a family disturbance and a gunshot victim at the location.
Deputies arrived swiftly and discovered one male adult (a male Black/43, resident of Walnut) was shot in the leg during an argument.
The suspect, who was identified as the victim's brother, Sean Kent (MB/40, resident of Walnut) fled the scene prior to deputies' arrival.
The victim's injury was not considered life-threatening. He was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
Deputy personnel are searching the area for Suspect Kent, who is described as a male Black, 40 years old, 5'10"/185 pounds, with an unknown clothing description.
The weapon used in the shooting has not yet been recovered and the suspect may be armed. If you see the suspect, do not contact him or attempt to detain him. Instead, dial 9-1-1 and advise law enforcement personnel.
