"Safe Passage" Multi-Agency Truancy Sweep

Members of COPS Bureau participated in a multi-agency operation to enforce truancy laws in Compton and surrounding cities. The purpose of the operation is to return students to school and to promote a safe environment for the community.

Several agencies participated in the operation including; LASD-Transit Services Bureau, LASD-Compton Station, Compton School Police, Long Beach Police, Los Angeles Police, L.A. County Probation, and the L.A. County District Attorney's Office.
