March EOW April 29, 2002 These are the words of Deputy David W. March who was murdered in the line of duty. His words were adopted by the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department as our creed. On April 29, 2016 we will be honoring Deputy March and his sacrifice with a 24 hour vigil. Deputies will stand watch over the Deputy David W. March Memorial beginning at 0000 Hours. The memorial site is located in the City of Irwindale on Live Oak Avenue between Peck Road and Longden Avenue. We are proud to continue his tradition of making a difference in the community we serve.
