Facilitator Staff

The LIFE class is taught by lieutenants who have demonstrated their influence and leadership abilities on the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. Sheriff Lee Baca has mandated that the LIFE class be facilitated by personnel of the rank of lieutenant. Sheriff Baca understands that a lieutenant is the highest rank in which most personnel on the Department will have daily contact. Each LIFE lieutenant has received training in order to effectively facilitate the LIFE class. The LIFE lieutenants’ commitment to Education-Based Discipline and the LIFE class is in addition to their regular duties and assignments on the Department.
