A Man on Probation for Indecent Exposure is Arrested for Felony Indecent Exposure at Bassett Park, 510 N. Vineland Avenue, La Puente, CA
On July 2, 2013, deputies from the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department - Parks Bureau responded to Bassett Park in regards to a man committing indecent exposure by the park restroom.
The deputies contacted the victim at the park and began searching for the suspect.
The individual was subsequently detained and identified by the restrooms next to the playground as Juan Roberto Martinez, a male, 47 years old, and a resident of La Puente.
Further investigation revealed Mr. Martinez was standing in the restroom doorway allegedly exposing and fondling his genitals where the victim a female adult could see him. Additional information indicated he had a $75,000 warrant for indecent exposure issued on June 11, 2013. Additionally it indicated Martinez was on 3 years' probation for indecent exposure.
Suspect Martinez was arrested and booked at the Industry Sheriff's Station where he is currently held in lieu of a $35,000 bail.
