The Crescenta Valley Explorers are a dedicated group of young individuals who train every Monday in preparation for their next competition. Their training this year alone has paid off with eighteen trophies in three competitions.

The explorers are trained by Sheriff's Department personnel along with a civilian advisor, Steven Cronkhite. The explorers do ride a longs, and study to maintain their high level of accomplishments they have worked so hard to earn.

Since its inception in 1969, the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department's Law Enforcement Explorer Program has created new inroads of understanding between youth, law enforcement, and the community.

If you are interested, and are between the ages of 14-21, please contact your local Sheriff's Station for more information on the Explorer Program.
