Reward for Information Leading to an Arrest & Conviction in the Alondra Park Kidnapping & Carjacking
The Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors are offering a $10,000.00 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect wanted for the Kidnapping and Carjacking that occurred at Alondra Park (3535 Redondo Beach Boulevard, unincorporated El Camino Village) on July 19, 2013, at 5:15 p.m.
The victims were sitting in their vehicle in the parking lot. The suspect entered the vehicle and forcibly obtained the key to the vehicle from the driver. He drove away from the park with two victims in the backseat while leaving the driver/victim standing in the parking lot.
The suspect then crashed into two vehicles as he left the parking lot with the two victims still in the backseat. The victim's pleaded with the suspect to stop driving and set them free. The suspect responded to their pleas with threats to kill them and crash the vehicle. This continued until the suspect collided into two vehicles at Van Ness Boulevard and Imperial Highway in the city of Hawthorne. The suspect fled from the collision and was last seen running eastbound. Both of the victims in the vehicle received significant injuries as a result of this collision.
The suspect is described as Male, black, 20-25 years-of-age, 6'0", 170 lbs. black hair brown eyes.
