ANIMAL POISONING

August 25, 2013

Cresecenta Valley Station Detectives are investigating an animal poisoning incident that occurred on the 4100 Block of Hampstead Road in the city of La Canada Flintridge on August 25, 2013. The victim's dog ingested a meatball containing strychnine. There has been one other documented incident of animal poisoning on the 4100 Block of Hampstead Road in January 2009.

Detectives have no investigative leads, other than the substance the dog ingested. The investigation is ongoing.
