: Deputies assigned to Industry Sheriff's Station, La Puente Special Assignment Team, completed a drug investigation in the city of La Puente; discovering, and seizing, a large scale marijuana grow within the residence.
Deputies culminated the investigation after receiving tips, and executing a search warrant at the residence located in the 500 block of Chatterton Avenue, La Puente.
Upon serving the warrant, deputies found indoor Marijuana grow, which contained over 350 plants at various stages of growth. Additionally, several pieces of hydroponic equipment to include high intensity lights, fans, blowers; and ducting were seized.
The investigation included Revenue Protection Investigators from Southern California Edison, and U.S Department of Homeland Security, Immigration & Customs Enforcement agents.
The street value of the narcotics is estimated at more than $800,000.00.
The investigation is on-going, therefore, no arrests have been made. Deputies have identified several individuals associated to the indoor grow.
