On December 19, 2013, Members of the Montrose Search and Rescue along with Los Angeles County Fire Department conducted rescue operation of 2 victims who's pick up truck went over the side on Angeles Forest Highway, in the Angeles Nation Forest.

The victims were airlifted out of the area by Los Angeles County Fire Helicopter to a local hospital. Both victims were wearing their seatbelts and are expected to make a full recovery.
