On Tuesday and Wednesday December 24 and 25, 2013, County Services Bureau personnel assigned to LAC+USC Medical Center and Securitas who work hand in hand with Sheriff's personnel at the hospital, visited patients in the Pediatric Unit. After receiving some tips from Santa outside, the crew headed inside the hospital. No Lights, No Fanfare, just Warm Hearts and Smiles filled the rooms as they went room to room handing out toys to each child making sure they knew they were not forgotten on Christmas. It was clear to all that participated that indeed the children were not the only ones that received a gift. Seeing the children's faces as they lit up as each was handed a toy, "For Me", some said. Well that moment was priceless as they were handed a toy, "Yes, for you."
