Long-Time Volunteer Recognized by City

The City of Lancaster recently approved to have a portion of Sancroft Avenue dual named to honor long-time Sheriff's Station Volunteer, Gary Burgess. Mr. Burgess had been an active and dedicated Lancaster Station Volunteer since 2003. He previously had a very lengthy and successful career in the aerospace industry. He was also associated with many other local charities. Unfortunately, Gary pasted away unexpectedly earlier this year, leaving behind a very loving family. Gary will be truly missed, but never forgotten.

The City of Lancaster will complete the dual naming at a later date. This portion of Sancroft Avenue will be between Avenue H-14 and Avenue H-11.
