On Friday, May 25, 2012 at 12:24 PM , Parks Bureau Detectives from the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department arrested a man for Possession of Stolen Property (eleven deep cycle batteries.)
Between May 12, 2012 and May 25, 2012, the Triple B shooting range at Whittier Narrows Recreational Area was burglarized, stolen was several new deep cycle batteries used to power the equipment at the range.
Upon further investigation it was determined that the suspect William Quintanilla had the stolen deep cycle batteries in his possession. The detectives went to the suspects resident where they recovered the stolen batteries.The suspect William Quintanilla a male Hispanic age 25, a resident of El Monte was booked at Temple Station and being held on $20,000.00 bail.
Whittier Narrows Recreational Area is located at 750 Santa Anita Avenue, South El Monte.
