Residential burglary of a property under fumigation
On January 18, 2015, at 4:55am, deputies received a call of a burglary on the 100 Block of South Ward Street. When deputies arrived, they heard commotion inside the residence which was tented / fumigated. Shortly after, they saw a suspect come out of the residence and flee on foot. He was not captured. Moments later, a second individual was seen coming out of the residence, arrested without incident and booked at the Century Regional Detention Facility.
The residents were not home during the incident and deputies could not determine what items were stolen because it was unsafe to enter the fumigated residence.
The case was presented for filing to the DA's office on Tuesday, January 20, 2015.
